Lead Piping Engineer

Marine Systems & Piping, Mechanical Equipment, HVACFor a renowned client in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Lead Piping Engineer who will be in charge to coordinate a group of engineers. You will be in charge to check the detailed design of piping systems of different types of vessels based on the schematics and 2D pre-engineering drawings. In addition, as Lead a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for the mechanical engineering process, and you report to the Group Leader engineering.

Aufgaben
- Check the process to ensure that it meets specifications and regulatory requirements;
- Prepare and follow up on complex mechanical systems plans, equipment classification, system drawings and feasibility analysis;
- Check the work of your team members and report the progress to your Group Leader Engineering;
- Occasionally work with third parties, suppliers and expand the connections with them.
Anforderungen
Additionally you have:
- B.Sc. or equivalent in either Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering;
- 5+ years experience in the yacht- or shipbuilding sector;
- Experience with both basic and detail engineering;
- Good knowledge of Cadmatic (or similar);
- Knowledge of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping and machinery;
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills;
- Excellent command of the English language, Dutch is a plus.
