We are looking for a Structural Topside Engineer with experience in oil and gas projects. You will be managing the structural analysis of offshore structures that includes for example performing global strength analyses and detailed strength calculation. Advanced experience with using SACS and Ansys (classic and workbench), basic knowledge of FEMAP and StaadPro is required.

Aufgaben

Do you have experience with the engineering of sub-structures and topsides of offshore platforms and offshore wind turbine generators? Were you involved in engineering structural components during the concept, basic and detail design phase of projects? If you are looking for a new career challenge in the Netherlands and have experience with structural analysis using SACS and Ansys (classic and workbench), basic knowledge of FEMAP and StaadPro, then you need to check this position! 

Anforderungen

  • Bsc. or Msc. in Mechanical Engineering ;
  • +6 years of experience as structural engineer in the offshore, oil & gas or the renewable industry;
  • Knowledge of analysis of platform substructures and topsides;
  • advanced user of SACS and Ansys (classic and workbench), basic knowledge of FEMAP and StaadPro;
  • Familiar with international rules and regulations applicable to offshore designs for oil & gas as well as the offshore wind industry;
  • Knowledge with geotechnical foundation design for driven piles and suction anchor foundations (incl. drivability);

Konditionen

This vacancy is offered on a contractual basis with our client for a minimum of 12 months (likely to be extended on completion) and the Structural Topside Engineer will receive an appropriate package of employment conditions.
