SUPO WORKSHOP ENGINEER

Main tasks

•Perform inspection and testing of SUPO Asset equipment returning to ERS

•Support the verification / inspection processes of rented equipment

•Perform in-house repairs on SUPO Asset owned equipment and liaise with manufacturers to ensure correct procedures are followed

• If required liaise with suppliers to repair damaged or faulty equipment out of house and follow the process

• Update records of equipment maintenance, service, calibration, failure, and repair, and close out fault reports submitted from the offshore teams

• Register all new equipment into the SUPO quality system

• Checking of received orders & goods in warehouse

•If required, assist vessel mobilisations and demobilisations by liaising with the Project Surveyors utilising the MTO form as reference

•Support the offshore survey teams for all equipment matters and liaise with equipment suppliers to sort out technical issues and replacements as and when required

•Contribute to keep up-to-date inventories

•Support the workshop coordinator with coordination of stores and keep a record of types and quantities ensuring sufficient spare parts and consumables are available and ready to be delivered offshore when required

•Support the workshop coordinator to create new orders for equipment, spares and consumables as required by base and track the procurement process

•Ensure equipment is suitably packed for shipment (to or from the workshop), to safeguard the serviceability

• Actively partake in research and development of internally designed solutions to meet project requirements

•Work according to the department quality procedures, standards and specifications and contribute to their improvement
