Electrical Power Engineer – Superyacht Systems

As a Power Engineer Electrical, you will be responsible for the engineering and design of electrical power distribution systems for luxury superyachts. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure reliable, safe, and class-compliant electrical installations.

Aufgaben

  • Design and engineer AC and DC power distribution systems up to 2.5 MW.
  • Develop basic and detailed engineering documentation for electrical installations.
  • Design AC/DC switchboards and associated power systems.
  • Perform load flow, short-circuit, and electrical network calculations.
  • Engineer systems including drives, transformers, UPS installations, synchronization, load sharing, and protection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with class regulations, EMC standards, and applicable electrical regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver innovative and reliable electrical solutions for superyachts.

Anforderungen

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience designing power distribution systems for complex electrical installations in the maritime space 
  • Experience with EPLAN P8, SKM PowerTools, or comparable engineering software
  • Able to work independently while communicating effectively in English
  • Dutch language skills are considered an advantage
