Tasks

In this role, you will support and actively contribute to improving our client’s procurement and contracting processes. You’ll ensure safe, effective, and reliable partnerships with subcontractors and suppliers in a dynamic, global environment.

Tasks

  • Carry out tendering and contracting processes according to procedures.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define requirements for goods, materials, and services.
  • Develop contracting strategies based on market conditions, risks, and internal policies.
  • Pre-qualify, select, and evaluate suppliers.
  • Prepare and issue tender packages and draft contracts.
  • Conduct bid evaluations and assist in internal approval processes.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing in collaboration with the Legal Department.
  • Award contracts and frame agreements.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commercial Law, Engineering, Technical Science, or equivalent (localized to German: Bachelor/Master in Betriebswirtschaft, Wirtschaftsrecht, Ingenieurwesen oder Technikwissenschaften).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contracting or tactical procurement.
  • Solid technical knowledge of industry practices.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
  • Hands-on mentality, results-driven mindset, and common sense.
  • Experience with ERP and MS Office tools.
  • Additional qualifications such as NEVI 1&2, CIPS, IFPPM are advantageous.
