Proposal Project Engineer - Electrical Specification (New Build)

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set-out ship and project descriptions (outline full ELECTRICAL specifications and appendices mostly in the accommodation area), together with the sales / proposal project team ( 4-5 team members)
• Contribute to the development of technical concepts and systems, electrical area
• Internal and external coordination, discussion and negotiation of specification parts
• Create material cost estimation and observation of market prices (stream related)
• Supply necessary information to cost engineers and the project team
• Represent specific technical field (electrical) to customer
• Able to coordinate professionally with shipowner / shipowner's representative, suppliers and internally
• Part of project team and closely connected to streams

• An applicable technical background (e.g. M.Sc./B.Sc. or M.Eng./B.Eng. in Electrical)  as well as general knowledge of ships and systems
• Must have technical expertise in Shipbuilding or Civil coupled with having a commercial mindset 
• Industry, cluster and product insights
• Good verbal and written skills in English language are also essential, as well as good cooperation and presentation skills
• Transparent, open minded and visionary
• Flexible, team and customer oriented
• Willingness to travel
• You show self-initiative and work independently in a solution-oriented manner
