Middle Point Germany is working closely with a well-known shipbuilder in Northwest Germany to recruit for a well-experienced Electrical Engineering with shipbuilding background. Leading a team of 4 engineers and subcontractors, this is an amazing role for an Electrical Engineer with discipline / project leadership experience in special vessels.

Tasks
To lead a small team of Electrical Engineers and Subcontractors, you will support the team in the shipbuilding product area.
Your tasks include but are not limited to:
- Design and planning of electrical wiring systems
- Provide close cooperation with the design and manufacturing departments
- Responsible for the management of a sub-project team
- Provide effective and timely communication and coordination with the owner / owner's rep/ subcontractors / internal employees
- Monitor, support and control of suppliers for the field of marine electrics/electronics
- Design and planning review of electrical systems from subcontractors
Job requirements
To be successful for this position, you must have / be:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of Electrical Engineering or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in the field of Electrical function in shipbuilding / special shipbuilding
- Good command of written and spoken English; Conversational German a must
- Sovereign appearance, independence and assertiveness
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment, flexibility and resilience
