Project ManagementWe are looking for multiple Project Manager Engineering professionals with yacht building experience for a number of highly respected shipyards in the Netherlands. To lead multi-disciplinary teams in the completion of the finest Super Yachts.
You will be tasked with managing teams throughout all engineering phases, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery to the highest standards. You will have control over workload, budget, and final design input during the process. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering.

Tasks
The responsibilities of the Project Manager Engineering will be:
- Prepare and monitor documents/activity lists including budgets, man hours and engineering responsibilities.
- Establish and monitor the project engineering schedule.
- Direct technical content of the engineering project team and act as point of contact for technical related queries/decisions.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of the work and monitor progress and quality.
- Keep close contact with Owner’s representatives and other 3rd parties during engineering phases of a project.
- Organize and lead the Engineering Project Team meetings as well as participating in various departmental and project meetings.
Job requirements
The Project Manager Engineering will have the following experience:
- BSc. or higher in mechanical or Naval Architecture
- 10+ years' experience with a Naval Architecture back ground within yacht building.
- 5+ years' experience in managing a team of engineers,
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the execution details of yachts,
- Experience in using Cadmatic and AutoCad,
- Familiarity with classification society rules and regulations,
- Good communication skills in English. (Dutch highly advantageous)
- Must be an EU citizen or have valid Dutch work permit.
