Senior Engineer E&A

In your role of Senior E&A Engineer, you will be involved from the very first stages of the project, and you will perform design proposals and calculations. Reporting alternatively to the Team Leader or the Project Manager, you will work through every stage and up until the final launch of the new vessel.

As Senior E&A Engineer, you:

• Develop specifications documents, functional descriptions, schematic drawings, test & validation plans.
• Perform technical calculations to prove the design. Additionally you participate to design checks and reviews, ensuring the required quality is guaranteed. 
• Verify the technical performance of vendors and subcontractors.
• Cooperate with the Purchasing department in performing cost analysis on offers.
• Ensure that vendors and subcontractors perform their obligations on time.
• Support the submitting of proposals to customers.
• Support during commissioning activities.
• Work in compliance with requirements and specifications, as imposed by class and customer.

What kind of background and experience are we looking for?

• MSc or BSc in a relevant field, combined with several years of experience in highly complex technical projects.
• Experience with the design and installation of E&A systems, ideally in the maritime industry.
• Experience with the design of HV Power Distribution Systems.
• Experience with Control & Monitoring Systems.
• Knowledge of EMC regulations, and class-regulated projects.
• Excellent English knowledge (Dutch and German are a strong plus)
• EU citizenship mandatory due to the military nature of our client's projects.
