Interior Specialist

We're seeking an Interior Specialist who will be responsible for mega yacht projects. Your main responsibility will be to coordinate all interior aspects of a project by setting up and monitoring the plan, checking and perfecting the quality of the interior design, and coordinating the work of subcontractors.

Tasks

 

  • Communicating with team leaders of other disciplines; As Senior Interior Coordinator, you manage technical documentation and information related to the project, and
  • Ensure correct flow to the production department;
  • Performing quality control on design related to interior aspects, and checking them before they go to the authorities;
  • Monitoring, coordinating and checking the work of external parties with regard to progress, planning and design as well as specifications and suitability;
  • Drafting proposals and checking the general arrangement plans and designs related to Interior;
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, keep an overview of where your specialization overlaps with others and you report to the PLE;
  • Providing solutions and contribute in the improvement of the methods followed in the team and coordination.

Job requirements

  • EU citizenship;
  • BSc in (Naval) Architecture / Engineering/Design or similar;
  • +5 years' experience as Interior Coordinator, with a focus on detailed design;
  • Experience in the yacht building sector is a must (with +50m projects);
  • Familiarity with coordinating external parties/subcontractors:
