Tasks
As Service Engineer, you will work both as part of a team and independently. You will be involved in the aftercare of newly delivered vessels and on service jobs of existing ships.
You will:
- Be responsible for commissioning, maintenance and service activities on various electrical and industrial installations onboard ships (both in the Netherlands and abroad)
- Locate and diagnose faults
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Prepare summaries and reports
- Communicate with customers on progresses and follow ups
Job requirements
In your role of Service Engineer, you will need:
- Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering combined with experience within the maritime (or offshore) industry
- Knowledge on how to repair electrical installations autonomously
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Analytical and accurate mindset, combined with the desire to keep on growing and developing yourself
- EU citizenship (must have)
