Service Engineer

As Service Engineer, you will work both as part of a team and independently. You will be involved in the aftercare of newly delivered vessels and on service jobs of existing ships.

You will:

• Be responsible for commissioning, maintenance and service activities on various electrical and industrial installations onboard ships (both in the Netherlands and abroad)
• Locate and diagnose faults
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Prepare summaries and reports
• Communicate with customers on progresses and follow ups

In your role of Service Engineer, you will need:

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering combined with experience within the maritime (or offshore) industry
• Knowledge on how to repair electrical installations autonomously
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Analytical and accurate mindset, combined with the desire to keep on growing and developing yourself
• EU citizenship (must have)
