Tasks
- Developing 2D scantling plan drawings, including calculations, for the construction of superyachts.
- Creating construction arrangements and conducting Longitudinal strength calculations to ensure structural integrity.
- Providing guidance to subcontractors on FEA Global Strength works related to yacht construction.
- Performing FEA calculations for integrating equipment into the yacht's structural design, such as stabilizers and azimuthing thrusters (optional but beneficial).
- Utilizing software such as Acad, Multiframe, NX, Rhino, Ansys, and SSC software for design and analysis purposes.
- Collaborating throughout the design and engineering process to ensure compliance with statutory, non-statutory, and client requirements.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Shipbuilding or a related field is required.
- Approximately 5 years of relevant working experience in yachtbuilding industry.
- Experience in performing FEA calculations on the integration of equipment in the structural design of the yacht.
- Knowledge in following software: Acad, Multiframe, NX, Rhino, Ansys and SSC software.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Must possess EU citizenship.
