We have partnered with our client who boosts an excellent legacy representing the air-conditioning competence of a major German shipbuilder, situated in Hamburg Germany.

Are you ready to set sail as a HVAC Designer who wants to shape the future of HVAC technology in the maritime industry? In this role you will provide solutions that provide comfort and safety for passengers and crew on board of the vessels that our client supplies with cutting-edge premium Maritime Air Conditioning solutions.

Tasks

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop HVAC systems tailored to maritime environments;
  • Create detailed system  3D drawings, specifications, and technical documentation;
  • Conduct performance analyses and simulations to optimize system efficiency and functionality;
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols;
  • Enjoy a 50% home office option, with a minimum of two days in the office, following the successful completion of your onboarding process.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in HVAC system design, particularly within maritime or related industries;
  • Proficiency in CAD software and preferably Cadmatic experience;
  • Strong understanding of maritime regulations and classification societies' requirements is a plus;
  • Detail-oriented approach and a knack for problem-solving;
  • Eligibility to work in Germany without requiring client's sponsorship is a MUST.
