To strengthen their Engineering Department in the heart of the Netherlands, our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer.  

Tasks

The Engineering Department employs talented designers and engineers, providing innovative, cost effective engineering.

In your role of Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for: 

  • Delivering engineering and design output that meets specified project, safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
  • Providing support to other disciplines within agreed-upon timeframes, including interface coordination and interdisciplinary checks.
  • Potentially serving as a lead engineer for the electrical discipline or package engineer for electrical packages.
  • Reporting progress, setbacks, and concerns on various projects to the lead (project) engineer within the E&I team.
  • Identifying and signaling technical risks and abnormalities within projects.

Job requirements

As Electrical Engineer, you possess a pro-active attitude, problem solving skills and attention to details.

In addition, you:

  • Have a MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Have already some experience gained (ideally) in oil & gas or shipbuilding.
  • Have experience performing calculations, document processing, spreadsheets and database management.
  • Are eager to travel and visit construction sites.
  • Can communicate efficiently in English.
