Automation Engineer

As Automation Engineer, your involvement starts at the very beginning of the project with the development of design proposals and calculations. Together with your team, you will deliver engineering documents throughout the execution of the project. 

Specifically, you will:

• Develop specification documents, functional descriptions, schematic drawings, test and validation plans.
• Perform calculation to prove the design, perform design checks and review.
• Ensured the required quality is guaranteed at each step.
• Perform cost analysis on offers together with the Purchase department.
• Always work in compliance with requirements and specifications as imposed by Class and customer.
• Ensure that vendors and subcontractors work in line with deadlines.
• Support during the production and submittal of proposals to customers.
• Develop standards and working methods
• Provide technical support during commissioning activities when required.

In your role of Automation Engineer, you bring with you:

• Higher degree (MSc or BSc) in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Automation, etc.), 
• Few years of experience in the design and installation of complex automation systems in a similar industry.
• Excellent command of English (Dutch and/or German are appreciated but not mandatory)
• EU citizenship. This a MUST have requirement, as NON EU profiles (outside or within Europe) cannot be considered for this project.
