Tasks
Design and optimize piping systems, equipment layouts, and technical spaces using CADMATIC.
Translate technical specifications into practical 3D engineering solutions.
Prepare engineering models, drawings, and production documentation.
Ensure proper system integration, considering accessibility, maintenance, ergonomics, and safety.
Identify and resolve design conflicts during multidisciplinary reviews.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams.
Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations, quality standards, and project requirements.
Job requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in shipbuilding or offshore.
Proficiency in CADMATIC or comparable 2D/3D CAD software.
Experience designing piping systems and technical arrangements.
Understanding of system integration, maintainability, accessibility, and safety.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Fluent English; Dutch is an advantage.
Must be a permanent EU citizen.
Conditions
Salary of €4,000 – €6,100 gross per month.
Relocation, visa, and housing assistance.
Potential eligibility for the Dutch 30% tax ruling for up to five years.
At least 25 paid holidays plus 13 ADV days.
Commuting cost compensation.
Language course reimbursement up to €500.
