Tasks
- Perform basic engineering for exterior structures and outfitting on luxury yachts.
- Translate design concepts into practical engineering solutions.
- Develop technical drawings and 3D models.
- Ensure proper integration of exterior components with other yacht systems.
- Collaborate with shipyards, suppliers and other engineering disciplines.
- Provide technical support to design and production teams.
- Contribute to improving engineering processes and solutions.
Job requirements
- MBO4 or HBO degree in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience, in yacht building or shipbuilding.
- Experience in basic engineering, ideally focused on exterior structures or outfitting.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) and Rhinoceros (3D), or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work independently and accurately.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English; Dutch is an advantage but not required.
- EU citizenship required – visa sponsorship is not available.
