Tasks

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and upkeep of products essential to onboard monitoring and control systems. Your responsibilities will encompass creating detailed and assembly drawings for various mechanical parts and ensuring the highest standards of quality control and documentation.

Tasks:

  • Design and maintain detailed assembly drawings for mechanical parts using CAD systems.
  • Work on measurement transducers, control panels, and constructions for onboard placement.
  • Prepare parts lists, technical specifications, and test conditions.
  • Conduct quality control and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Manage documentation related to product components and orders.
  • Act as the point of contact for drawing and documentation requests.

Job requirements

  • Completed education in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering 
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Edge.
  • Knowledge of Eplan/Pro Panel and Electrical Engineering is a plus.
  • Experience with product data management systems.
  • Several years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of production methods.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Independent, proactive, and excellent communication skills.
