Tasks

An expert in the implementation and design of large and complex offshore energy infrastructure projects, our client is looking for mid-senior Heavy Lift Project Engineer to join their team in South Holland.  Whether you are mid-level (5 years)  or senior in your  experience, let’s talk if you see yourself performing these tasks and you have the following experience.

  • Collaborate with  multidisciplinary teams including Structural Engineers, Heavy Lift Engineers, Naval Architects, and Draftsmen.
  • Drive concept development, basic, and detailed engineering phases for the installation or removal of topsides and jacket structures w
  • Utilize in-house developed single lift methodologies on the world's largest vessel.
  • Embrace unconventional approaches in a strong engineering-focused organization.
  • Engage in the entire engineering process, from design and engineering to on-site support during yard and offshore execution.
  • Identify project goals and priorities and translate them into a clear plan for the team.
  • Interface with clients, subcontractors, project managers, and internal disciplines to ensure team delivers as needed.
  • Organize and maintain the team backlog, containing prioritized and detailed engineering deliverables.
  • Monitor progress, make independent decisions in consultation with stakeholders, and review/approve engineering deliverables for fit-for-purpose.
  • Represent, support, and inspire the team, promoting cooperation, transparency, and adaptability to maximize product value.

Job requirements

  • EU Citizen or has an existing right to work in The Netherlands, locally-based candidates have high priority
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering functions within the offshore and/or marine environment.
  • Hold a BSc degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Maritime Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate a willingness to travel and work offshore.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Exhibit an interest in developments within the offshore and renewable industry.
  • Be a team player with a positive mindset and strong communication and organizing skills.
  • Have a customer-oriented approach, being decisive, and results-oriented.
