Onboard Coordinator / Foreman

You will be the key link onboard between the Project Manager, technical teams, subcontractors, operators and yacht representatives, anticipating operational needs and helping keep complex refit projects moving forward.

Tasks

• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day technical activities onboard.
• Organise and coordinate subcontractors, operators and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Welcome operators onboard and ensure work areas are ready for planned activities.
• Maintain effective communication between the Project Manager, technical teams and yacht representatives.
• Follow the progress and quality of works carried out onboard.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, safety and quality procedures.
• Anticipate upcoming activities and coordinate the required logistics, access and operational needs.
• Manage changing priorities and help resolve practical issues arising during refit activities.
• Support smooth cooperation between different technical disciplines.
• Provide the Project Manager with clear updates on onboard progress and operational challenges.

• Solid professional experience within the marine industry, preferably yacht refit, ship repair or shipyard operations.
• Hands-on experience coordinating technical works, subcontractors or operators onboard.
• Operational knowledge of at least two technical disciplines, such as mechanics, steelwork/boiler making, electrical, painting, carpentry or composites.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic refit environment.
• Confident communicator with a professional, customer-oriented approach.
• Able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and yacht representatives.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Professional command of French and English.
• Practical, adaptable and solution-oriented, with a genuine interest in yachting and the marine industry.
