Offshore Engineering Do you have experience in project procurement within the oil & gas, offshore, or EPC industry? As a Project Procurement Lead, you will coordinate procurement and supply chain activities for critical equipment and material packages, working closely with engineering, project management, and suppliers worldwide. Develop procurement strategies for assigned project packages in collaboration with Category Managers and project stakeholders.
Define tendering strategies and coordinate supplier selection processes for project procurement requirements.
Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers, supported by Buyers and Category Managers where required.
Manage supplier relationships throughout project execution, ensuring alignment with project priorities and delivery schedules.
Act as the main procurement interface between the project team and vendors during Purchase Order execution.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery progress, costs, quality, and contractual obligations, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Support the resolution of procurement, supply chain, and vendor-related issues to maintain project schedules.
Provide continuous feedback on supplier performance to Category Managers and contribute to supplier improvement initiatives.
Report procurement progress, risks, and mitigation actions to the Project Procurement Manager throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain processes.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in project procurement, supply chain, or package management within the oil & gas, offshore, EPC, or energy sector.
Experience managing procurement packages for complex projects involving mechanical, offshore, onshore, or subsea equipment.
Strong contract management and commercial negotiation skills.
Experience working with ERP systems and procurement management tools.
Good understanding of project execution, supplier management, and procurement processes.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in cross-functional project teams.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced international project environment.
