Mechanical Equipment
Join an international offshore engineering leader as a Mechanical Engineer – Equipment & Process Package. Work on complex offshore projects and take responsibility for mechanical equipment and process packages throughout the engineering and project lifecycle. You will work closely with vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, reliable and technically compliant solutions within an international EPC environment.
Engineer and develop mechanical equipment and process packages for offshore projects
Prepare and review technical specifications, calculations and engineering documentation
Select suitable equipment and technical solutions in line with project requirements and industry standards
Coordinate technical requirements and interfaces with other engineering disciplines
Work closely with vendors and subcontractors during engineering, procurement and manufacturing
Review vendor documentation and follow up on technical issues
Support inspection, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment and packages
Ensure engineering deliverables are completed according to project schedule, budget and quality requirements
Take technical responsibility for assigned equipment or packages as Package Engineer when required
Job requirements
Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
5–10 years of relevant experience within the Oil & Gas industry
Previous experience working within an EPC engineering environment
Experience with mechanical equipment, particularly mechanical static equipment
Experience with process packages and package engineering is an advantage
Understanding of detailed engineering, equipment selection, technical specifications and engineering calculations
Experience coordinating with equipment vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Experience with equipment inspection, testing, commissioning and/or manufacturing is an advantage
