Electrical As a Yacht Service & Maintenance Technician, you will become part of a dedicated service team responsible for maintaining and repairing complex electrical installations onboard high-end yachts and maritime vessels. You will work on both scheduled maintenance and urgent service assignments, often in an international environment.
Carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical installations onboard yachts and passenger vessels;
Preparing service activities, including technical documentation, project planning, and drawings;
Identifying technical modifications and discussing improvements with work planners and project managers;
Preparing detailed service and inspection reports for both clients and internal stakeholders;
Supporting commissioning and refit activities where required;
Working independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams;
Travelling abroad regularly for international service assignments, both within and outside Europe.
Job requirements
MBO Level 4 education in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within a maritime or yacht building environment;
Knowledge of electrical installations, instrumentation, assembly methods, and technical drawings;
Able to work independently while also functioning effectively within a team;
Strong communication and organizational skills;
Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset;
Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
