Tasks
- Technical responsibility for the HVAC system scope within newbuild and conversion projects
- Coordination and integration of HVAC systems into existing ship designs
- Definition of technical requirements and preparation of specifications for suppliers and subcontractors
- Technical support and coordination of suppliers throughout project execution
- Liaison with clients, classification societies, and other project stakeholders
- Interface management with other engineering disciplines and departments
- Support of the estimating department during tender and proposal preparation
- Participation in FAT, HAT, and SAT activities
Job requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years of professional experience with HVAC systems in shipbuilding, ideally within the yacht, passenger vessel, or specialized shipbuilding sectors
- Good knowledge of relevant maritime regulations and classification requirements
- Experience working with suppliers, client representatives, and classification societies
- Proficiency in CAD applications; experience with Cadmatic is considered an advantage
- Minimum basic German skills
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
- Structured working approach with strong communication and teamwork skills
