Project Management

We are looking for a Project Manager to ensure the realization and coordination of the delivery of automation projects for integrated systems in the dredging sector, including new dredgers to be built at one of our client's yards in the region.

Renovation, upgrades and assignments with standard products directly to the customers would also part of your responsibility.

Only candidates already living in The Netherlands or EU will be considered.

Taken

  • Executing and delivering projects in line with the contractual obligations, the specification and the quality/safety requirements.
  • Timely realization of project planning, budgeting, progress monitoring, prioritization of assignments (OSBIT).
  • Setting up and leading the project team with effective communication between all project stakeholders, functional disciplines both internally and externally.

Functie eisen

  • MBO+/HBO thinking and working level, as well as at least 3 years of work experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch as well.
  • Good insight and knowledge of the application of instrumentation, control and automation of dredging equipment, preferably. 
  • Previous experience with automation in different types of vessels.
  • Excellent organizing, planning and progress monitoring skills.
  • A quality-driven, pragmatic and results-oriented institution.
  • Skilled in motivating project teams.
  • Able to collaborate in a good and flexible manner with other functional disciplines both within and outside the company.
  • Proficient user of software tools including Planning (e.g. MS Projects), ERP/MRP (e.g. IFS), MS Office.
