Taken
- Your key task is to create new ship concepts while collaborating closely with colleagues
- Perform and create GA sketching and drawing, definition of ship values, ratios and boundaries and the overall design view.
- Provide efficient communication with shipowners and representatives
- Ensure healthy collaboration with architectural designers, cost engineers and other project engineers (machinery, shipbuilding, and hotel) on daily basis.
- Communicate the concept to internal and external partners
- Provide overall design view and ship functionality and performance
Functie eisen
- M.Sc./B.Sc in Naval Architecture or relevant technical background
- 5+ years relevant years of relevant experience; shipbuilding a must
- Concept design engineering experience
- Has creative and a systematic approach – ability to organize and prioritize
- Flexible, communicative, and has positive mindset
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent communication skills at all levels. Business English is critical, German language skills is a great plus
- Knowledge of general CAD programs
