Senior Automation Engineer

In the role of Senior Automation Engineer, your main responsibilities include:

• Developing essential engineering deliverables, such as specification documents, functional descriptions, schematic drawings, and test/validation plans, to support the engineering process.
• Conducting the necessary technical calculations to validate the design.
• Participating in design checks and reviews to ensure the desired quality standards.
• Collaborating closely with the Purchase department to analyze the costs of received offers.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant requirements and specifications set forth by Class and the customer.
• Effectively managing vendors and subcontractors to secure their timely contributions to the project.
• Establishing and documenting standards and work methods.
• Providing support for proposal development and submission to our customers.
• Extending technical support and contributing to commissioning activities for contracted projects.

To excel as a Senior Automation Engineer, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Technical Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience and expertise in designing and installing intricate automation systems, with a preference for those with experience in maritime, offshore, or industrial settings.
• Demonstrated capability to thrive in complex project environments.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Dutch and English, German is considered a valuable asset.
• EU citizenship (non EU profiles will not be considered for the role)
