Deputy Program Manager Navy Vessel (m/w/d)

• Supporting and deputizing for the Program Manager in the operational and strategic management of a complex naval project
• Independently taking responsibility for specific areas of the project and ensuring that objectives are met in terms of schedule, costs, quality, and risks
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, production, procurement, and quality
• Managing and monitoring project priorities, resources, and milestones
• Managing interfaces with German Armed Forces customer organizations (e.g. BAAINBw, German Navy), classification societies, regulatory authorities, and internal committees
• Contributing to risk, change, and contract management
• Preparing and facilitating key meetings and decision-making processes at management level

German language skills at C1 level or above are essential for this role.

• A completed degree in a technical or business-related field, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in shipbuilding, as well as in project, program, or operations management
• Solid understanding of complex shipbuilding projects and their technical and organizational aspects
• Ideally, experience in naval shipbuilding or the defense industry
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working with various stakeholders
• Strong sense of responsibility, excellent organizational skills, and a confident, professional manner
• Fluent German and English, including the ability to communicate effectively in negotiations
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business
