Taken

  • Produce and maintain naval architecture drawings for FPSO hull, general, tank, deck and accommodation arrangements
  • Develop vessel layouts considering stability, weight distribution, safety, operability and maintainability
  • Support naval architecture engineers with drawings and data related to stability, weight control, draft, trim and vessel motions
  • Incorporate marine systems such as mooring, offloading, ballast, bilge and seawater systems into vessel layouts
  • Prepare and update 2D/3D models using AutoCAD and/or E3D
  • Coordinate with structural, piping, mechanical, electrical and outfitting disciplines to resolve layout and interface issues
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable classification society rules, offshore regulations and project requirements

Functie eisen

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Design or a related technical field;
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience within shipbuilding, offshore/FPSO or Oil & Gas; recent graduates with a relevant technical background are also encouraged to apply
  • Good understanding of naval architecture fundamentals such as ship layout, compartmentation, stability principles, weight distribution and vessel operability
  • Knowledge of FPSO concepts, offshore vessel operations and marine systems integration
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and/or E3D software is an advantage.
  • Previous exposure to FPSO hull layouts, accommodation, marine systems or vessel operations is considered an advantage
  • Comfortable working within multidisciplinary engineering teams and motivated to further develop your technical expertise

Important: This position is open to professionals who already have the right to work in the Netherlands. Visa sponsorship / HSM sponsorship is unfortunately not available for this junior position.
