- Independently commission new electrical systems onboard ships
- Perform service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of maritime installations
- Locate and repair faults in sensors, cables, and switchboard components
- Replace and adjust electrical components as needed
- Participate in technical problem-solving and create detailed service reports
- Test cables, sensors, and systems for reliability
- Collaborate with teams to resolve power management and automation issues
Functie eisen
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering (MBO level or equivalent)
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar maritime industry role
- Experience with PMS/AMS, battery systems, hybrid systems, and drives
- Basic knowledge of dredging, automation, and high-voltage technology
- SCC certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Familiarity with safety, quality standards, and technical regulations
- Strong command of German and English (spoken and written)
- Independent, proactive, resilient, and solution-oriented mindset
- Customer-focused with flexibility and willingness to travel
- Valid driver's license
